Last night I went out and actually paid money to see Unfriended, the teenage horror flick about the ghost of a girl who was bullied and committed suicide and is back a year later to seek revenge on those who wronged her.First things first, the entire movie is shot on facebook and a group skype conversation, and the point of view you get is a girl who, for more than half the movie, spends her time freaking out and looking at forums and not reading them because she's freaking out.
Second: all of this movies drama comes from High School - Being unfaithful, having sex on prom night, getting drunk and calling each other sluts. Unfriended was full of plot holes and unoriginal deaths.
I give the movie props for being a more original "Found-Footage" type movie - but in the end this movie was not worth the headache or the loss of funds.
